Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within an established company with over 45 years of experience. The program lasts approximately sixteen weeks and includes hands-on and computer-based training covering:

  • General Training & Comprehension: Perform and teach various cleaning and laundry positions, operate industrial equipment.
  • Leadership Development: Assist in training, quality control, and staff in-servicing according to policies and federal/state requirements.
  • Policies & Procedures: Provide leadership to meet quality, safety, inventory, and customer service standards.
  • Reporting: Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Training & Quality Control: Responsible for staff training, quality assessments, and documentation.
  • Leadership Responsibilities: Handle payroll, staffing, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Communication: Effectively relay directives from management and client staff to team members.
  • Safety: Use protective gear, handle cleaning solutions safely, report issues promptly, and follow infection control policies.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and respond promptly to communication systems.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively, demonstrate courtesy and cooperation.
  • Experience: Engage in positive interactions with staff and guests.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, perform routine tasks.
  • Leadership skills post-training, safe work practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift, push, and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Residence within the service area.
