Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within our established company. The program lasts approximately sixteen weeks and includes hands-on and computer-based training covering:

  • General Training & Comprehension: Perform and learn to operate various cleaning equipment and teach others.
  • Leadership Development: Assist in training, quality control, and staff in-servicing according to policies and federal/state requirements.
  • Policies & Procedures: Provide leadership to meet quality, safety, inventory, and customer service standards.
  • Reporting: Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Training & Quality Control: Responsible for staff training, quality control, and documentation using QCIs.
  • Leadership: Handle managerial responsibilities including payroll, staffing, coaching, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Communication: Effectively relay directives from managers and clients to staff.
  • Safety: Use protective gear, follow safety and infection control policies, and report issues promptly.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and respond promptly to communication.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively through courteous and cooperative interactions.
  • Experience: Maintain positive interactions with staff and guests.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, and perform routine tasks.
  • Leadership skills post-training, with safety and injury prevention focus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Reside in the service area.
