Yona is hiring an Environmental Services Manager in Delaware to lead housekeeping and laundry operations in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards. You will coordinate with all facility staff and manage staff performance and budgets.

The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience, healthcare housekeeping background, and strong interpersonal skills. The department emphasizes resident comfort, survey readiness, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree strongly desired; high school diploma/GED acceptable.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions and activities of the departments.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive, and orderly.
• Forecasts and plans the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
