Qualifications

• Four year college degree required or equivalent related experience.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision desired.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work across shifts and manage budgets and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department activities.
• Maintains sanitary and orderly environment for residents and staff.
• Forecasts and plans purchases of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Maintains staffing schedules and records.
• Conducts management meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Manages cost-effective program and survey readiness.
