Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program designed to develop you to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility through 12 weeks of hands-on and computer-based training. The program mentors you to lead a team, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate with administrators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Must have computer skills to maintain records and reports.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff.
