Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is offering an Environmental Services Manager in Training program in Long Beach, CA. The 12-week paid curriculum builds supervision and management skills for housekeeping, laundry, and floor care in a healthcare setting.

Pay ranges from USD 21.00 to USD 24.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and development opportunities. Residency within the service area is required to participate in this program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain records and complete reports using computer systems.
• COVID-19 vaccination per policy compliance.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
