Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. invites you to join as an Environmental Services Manager in Training. The program is structured and paid for 12 weeks, teaching you to manage housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

You will gain hands-on and computer-based training, developing skills to oversee environmental services in healthcare settings and coordinate with facility administrators and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Residency within the service area required

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
