Provides leadership within the Environmental Services (EVS) department, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. Responsible for a variety of environmental services duties, follows special healthcare cleaning techniques as required, and trains staff as needed. Ensures a professional and appropriate service standard while performing the job.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) – Preferred
Experience: Minimum of 3 years related work experience – Required
Certification: Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) within 18 months – Association for the Healthcare Environment
