Aristacare-Health-Service is seeking an Environmental Services Director to plan, organize, and direct the Housekeeping/Environmental Services Department within a long-term care facility. You will oversee staff, schedules, inventories, and safety standards to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, infection control, and collaboration with facility leadership to uphold high care and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care as an Environmental Services Director or similar supervisory role.
• Experience supervising housekeeping or environmental services staff in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping/Environmental Services Department and ensure areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and provide direction to housekeeping and environmental services staff.
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules, procedures, and standards to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Monitor inventory and proper use of supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, infection control, safety, and policies.
