Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Director of Environmental Services to lead all environmental services operations within our skilled nursing facility. This leadership role ensures a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors while adhering to regulatory, infection control, and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years in environmental services, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred.
• Prior experience in medical, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and oversee all functions of the Environmental Services Department.
• Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition at all times.
• Verify that required equipment and supplies are available, properly maintained, and operational.
• Conduct daily rounds to evaluate staff performance and compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Enforce departmental policies, fire and disaster procedures, safety rules, and Universal Precautions.
• Lead, train, schedule, and support Environmental Services staff to meet operational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Be flexible to provide hands-on support or fill shifts when operational needs require.
