Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a dedicated cleaning professional to join the Mass General Brigham facilities team. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment in patient areas, corridors, and common spaces.

This part-time position offers weekend and holiday coverage, with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift and competitive pay and benefits. The role is based on-site at 15 Francis Street, reporting to Mass General Brigham facilities leadership.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years cleaning in hospitals/healthcare.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
• Cleans and sanitizes restroom facilities and fixtures; replenishes supplies as needed.
• Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Picks up debris around building.
• Operates high and low speed stripping/buffing machines.
• Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for events and activities.
• Identifies and reports building maintenance needs.

Essential Functions
