Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time hospital janitor to maintain a clean and safe environment across facilities. You will scrub and polish floors, sanitize restrooms, dust and wipe surfaces, and assist with event setups as needed.

Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required, with on-site work at 15 Francis Street. Qualifications include a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 2–3 years of hospital cleaning experience, plus strong attention to detail and teamwork.

  • 2–3 years’ experience using hospital cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors and carpets.
  • Washes walls, fixtures, windows, and restroom surfaces; replenishes supplies.
  • Emptys and sanitizes waste receptacles and restrooms.
  • Operates floor care machines and sets up spaces for events and activities.
  • Reports building maintenance needs as observed.
