Andrus on Hudson is seeking a dependable Environmental Services Aide to join our housekeeping team on a temporary basis. Located on a campus overlooking the Hudson River, we provide skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services to older adults in Westchester County.

Our Housekeeping team supports residents' health and comfort by maintaining a clean, welcoming environment throughout the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Healthcare, assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior living setting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to complete assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines.
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment.
• Work with team to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Located on a beautiful campus overlooking the Hudson River, Andrus on Hudson provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services to older adults in Westchester County.

Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the community.

What You'll Do:

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Follow established cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Experience in a healthcare, assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior living setting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
• Available to work full time on a temporary schedule, and available every other weekend
