Job summary

Andrus on Hudson in Westchester County, NY, seeks a dependable Environmental Services Aide to join our housekeeping team on a temporary basis. You will help create a clean, comfortable environment for residents and staff in an aging-friendly setting.

The role involves cleaning resident rooms and common areas, following infection prevention guidelines, and working with teammates to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Prior housekeeping or healthcare cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, assisted living, or senior living settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines.
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Andrus on Hudson is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to join our dedicated team on a temporary basis. If you take pride in your work and want to help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for older adults, we would love to meet you.

Located on a beautiful campus overlooking the Hudson River, Andrus on Hudson provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services to older adults in Westchester County.

Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the community.

What You'll Do:

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Follow established cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
