• Must be able to lift and move up to 35 lbs daily and work evenings/weekends as assigned.

Mission for Position

As an Environmental Services Aide, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of Lakewood's campuses. Your contribution to maintaining high-quality housekeeping will directly impact the well-being of everyone who enters our facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for routinely cleaning of hospital floor rooms, labor & delivery rooms, nurses station, public and staff restrooms, lobby and other areas as assigned for this location to health care standards following the seven - step cleaning process. Environmental Services Aides are responsible for dusting, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping floors, wall cleaning, emptying trash, inside window cleaning, restocking supplies, learning about Infectious and Hazardous waste removal, storage and clean up. It's an important job with real impact!

Position Type

This is a full-time position working 80 hours per pay period (1.0FTE). Shift time starts at 3:00pm through 11:30pm. Some weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License

• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to lift and move moderate weight up to 35 lbs. daily
