Job summary

Lakewood Health System is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain clean, safe facilities across its campuses. You will follow a seven-step cleaning process, dust, vacuum, mop, and restock supplies to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Must be a reliable team player and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs daily.

Responsibilities

• Routine cleaning of hospital areas including floors, rooms, restrooms and lobbies.
• Follow the seven-step cleaning process to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Restock supplies and maintain clean, organized spaces.
• Assist in infection control and safe waste handling as directed.

Your contribution to maintaining high-quality housekeeping will directly impact the well-being of everyone who enters our facilities.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for routinely cleaning of hospital floor rooms, labor & delivery rooms, nurses station, public and staff restrooms, lobby and other areas as assigned for this location to health care standards following the seven - step cleaning process. Environmental Services Aides are responsible for dusting, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping floors, wall cleaning, emptying trash, inside window cleaning, restocking supplies, learning about Infectious and Hazardous waste removal, storage and clean up. It's an important job with real impact!Position TypeThis is a full-time position working 80 hours per pay period (1.0FTE). Shift time starts at 3:00pm through 11:30pm.
