Job summary

Lakewood Health System is seeking an Environmental Services Aide for the main campus in Staples, MN. This evening role runs from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, totaling 80 hours per pay period (1.0 FTE).

You will perform routine cleaning across hospital areas, including patient rooms, common spaces, and restrooms, following established seven-step cleaning process. The ideal candidate has strong customer service, is a team player, and can work independently with good communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Team-oriented and reliable with good communication.
• Ability to work independently and lift up to 35 lbs daily.

Responsibilities

• Routinely clean hospital floor rooms, labor and delivery rooms, nurses stations, restrooms, lobby and other areas per standards.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop floors, clean walls, empty trash, wash inside windows, restock supplies.
• Learn Infectious and Hazardous waste removal, storage and cleanup procedures.

Your contribution to maintaining high-quality housekeeping will directly impact the well-being of everyone who enters our facilities.**Duties & Responsibilities**Responsible for routinely cleaning of hospital floor rooms, labor & delivery rooms, nurses station, public and staff restrooms, lobby and other areas as assigned for this location to health care standards following the seven - step cleaning process. Environmental Services Aides are responsible for dusting, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping floors, wall cleaning, emptying trash, inside window cleaning, restocking supplies, learning about Infectious and Hazardous waste removal, storage and clean up. It's an important job with real impact!**Position Type**This is a full-time position working 80 hours per pay period (1.0FTE). Shift time starts at 3:00pm through 11:30pm.
