Job summary

Mercy Cassville is seeking a Floor Technician responsible for the maintenance of all floor surfaces, walls, and upholstered furniture in a hospital environment. The role may require other environmental services duties as needed.

The position is full-time with an evening shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, based in Mercy Cassville. You will help maintain a clean and safe patient environment as part of a caring healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions.
• Prior experience working with the public; customer service.
• Experience with performing manual tasks.

Position Details

Hours: 1:30p-10p

Evening Shift

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Certification: Gloss Tek.
• Experience: Prior hospital environmental service experience.

License

Valid current driver's license; obtain a chauffeur's license within 90 days of employment

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
