Job summary

The Waters is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead the environmental services and housekeeping teams, focusing on maintenance, cleanliness, and safety across the community and grounds in Minnesota. You will recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff, participate in budget discussions, and coordinate with vendors to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance field, preferably in the hospitality industry or a senior living community.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Technical college or 4 year degree preferred but not required.
• Experience leading and managing the environmental services and housekeeping team.
• Ability to complete community maintenance requests (plumbing issues, minor electrical issues, changing light bulbs and ballast).
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Attend and participate in regular budget discussions for the environmental services division.
• Ability to effectively prioritize projects, recommend capital improvements and evaluate improvements for value add.

Environmental Services Manager leads and manages the overall physical plant, environment, maintenance and cleanliness of the internal community building and external community grounds. This position "owns" the appearance, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of the community and ensures that all preventive and corrective maintenance and cleaning is performed for the health, safety, comfort and wellbeing of all residents, guests and team members in accordance with the established state and federal code of regulations.
