The role involves communicating with co-workers, dispatching pager and discharge requests, keeping logs, and ensuring facility cleanliness in line with hospital and regulatory standards. Schedule: full-time, 2p-10p, with weekend duties.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year housekeeping experience.

Responsabilités

• Communicates with co-workers in the absence of immediate supervisor.
• Coordinates pre-scheduled assignments and work flow with on duty / on call supervisor and co-workers.
• Answers, dispatches and documents pager and discharge requests to appropriate Environmental Service staff.
• Distributes and collects assignment sheets, pagers and keys.
• Communicates inventory needs to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintains registers, logs, and other documentation related to the work.
• Performs essential responsibilities of Environmental Service Technician I or Technician II as appropriate.
• Performs other related responsibilities as necessary, which may be or have been assigned by departmental supervisor.
