Qualifications

• Two years of housekeeping experience preferred in education, healthcare, and/or business and industry.
• Attention to cleanliness and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Removes all regular and medical waste.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and fixtures according to guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms daily according to guidelines.
• Performs cleaning tasks (dusting, disinfecting surfaces, window cleaning, mopping).
• Maintains all floor surfaces (mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, stripping, scrubbing, refinishing).
• Completes department projects as assigned (stairwells, elevators, doors).
• Attends monthly department meetings.
• Performs other duties as directed.
