Job summary

North Wind Group seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support regulatory projects at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with RCRA, SDWA, and CAA regulations and involves collaboration with scientists, engineers, and other professionals.

Responsibilities include data review, sampling, reporting, and communicating regulatory findings to clients and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience or technical training with equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of RCRA permit compliance and requirements.
• Understanding of waste characterization and hazardous waste determinations per EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to hazardous waste and used oil.
• Collaborate with scientists, planners, and engineers on environmental projects.
• Review waste characterization data and apply EPA hazardous waste codes.
• Conduct environmental sampling and assist with data interpretation and reporting.
• Prepare, review, and update technical reports.
