Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to support multiple office locations, including Portland, ME. You will collect, synthesize and document data from investigated areas, assist in project documentation, and provide field support as needed with initiative and reliability.

Qualified candidates hold a BS in environmental science and 5–10 years’ experience, with CERCLA/RCRA knowledge, strong communication and teamwork, and solid Microsoft Office skills in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science and 5–10 years of environmental project experience.
• Knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA, NPDES, CWA and related environmental regulations.
• Ability to analyze data, communicate clearly and work in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, investigations and data collection per guidelines.
• Prepare technical evaluations using CERCLA/RCRA guidance.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff assembling documentation.
• Review environmental permits and ensure compliance objectives are met.
• Support planning, proposals, and safety culture.
