Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer II to join our team at an office in Portland, OR. You will collect, synthesize, and document data related to stormwater, wastewater, air quality, oil storage, and waste regulations, and assist in permits, P2 plans, and reports.

You’ll provide field support as needed, review environmental documentation, train junior staff, and help maintain a proactive safety culture while delivering high-quality environmental solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• 5–10 years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanup activities per regulations.
• Coordinate data collection with environmental technicians and evaluate results.
• Provide technical guidance and help prepare project documentation.
• Review permits, plans, reports, licenses, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support field efforts and mentor junior environmental engineers.
