Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer II to support data collection, analysis, and regulatory compliance across projects in multiple US locations, including Portland, ME. You will work on stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and permit development while providing field support and client interaction.

You will collaborate with environmental technicians, review permits, and prepare documentation to ensure safe, compliant deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
• Five to ten years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and able to operate a vehicle per policy.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians on data collection and evaluations.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance to project staff for written documentation.
• Review and document processes to obtain environmental permits, plans and reports.
• Develop data presentations and summaries to illustrate environmental relevance.
