Job summary

Pace is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory in Indianapolis, IN. This on-site, full-time role involves hands-on analysis of air, water and soil samples to ensure the integrity of environmental data that supports community health and safety.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field, and the ability to work in a lab environment with PPE. Training is provided and a comprehensive benefits program is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a STEM field is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment with PPE provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work around odors.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC and ICP for sample analysis.
• Analyze air, water and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and interpret results and document procedures and observations.
• Maintain, calibrate and clean laboratory instruments and equipment.

Education
