Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a Scientist I to join our environmental testing laboratory in an on-site capacity. You will conduct hands-on analysis of air, water, and soil samples and ensure the integrity of environmental data that informs community health decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related STEM field, is willing to train, and can work in a lab setting with PPE. Monday–Friday schedule; some weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related fields.
• We are happy to provide training.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality lab records.
