Zusammenfassung

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking an Environmental Staff Scientist/Geoscientist to join our North Texas Remediation Division in Allen, TX. The ideal candidate has 0–3 years’ experience and a BS in geoscience, environmental science, or related field. You will conduct ESAs, assist with reports, and perform field sampling.

Responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting clients with creative environmental solutions. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• BS degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or science-related field.
• Experience installing soil borings, monitoring wells, and providing oversight of subcontractors.
• Experience preparing technical reports, data tables, and figures.
• Basic understanding of the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TCEQ).
• Good basic mechanical skills to use and troubleshoot environmental sampling equipment.

Aufgaben

• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) including interviewing owners and site assessments.
• Assist with report writing and data tabulation for ESAs and APARs.
• Conduct field work such as installing groundwater monitoring wells and collecting samples.
• Oversee subcontractors in the field (drillers, remediation contractors).
• Collaborate with team, vendors, and clients to develop environmental solutions.
• Travel to local/regional project sites up to 20%.
