Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking an Environmental Staff Scientist/Geoscientist to join the North Texas Remediation Division in Allen, TX. The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience and a BS in geoscience, environmental science, or related field.

You will conduct Phase I ESAs and support report writing for clients and regulators. Responsibilities include fieldwork, well installation, samples collection, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or science-related field.
• Experience installing soil borings, monitoring wells, and providing oversight of subcontractors.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) including interviewing property owners and reviewing regulatory documents.
• Assist with report writing and data tabulation for ESAs, APARs, and other technical documents.
• Perform field work such as installing groundwater monitoring wells, collecting soil, groundwater, and air samples.
• Oversee subcontractors in the field (drillers, remediation contractors).
• Collaborate with coworkers, vendors, and clients to develop creative environmental solutions.
• Travel to local/regional project sites up to 20% travel.
