HydroGeoLogic, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist I to support environmental restoration projects for federal government clients from our Pleasanton, CA office. Travel up to 50% and potential field assignments across the Western US are expected.

You will perform sampling, data collection, and assist with work plans and deliverables while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A Bachelor’s in Geology or Environmental Science is required; MS Office proficiency is essential.

Formación

• 1+ years of related environmental industry experience.
• Strong technical writing and documentation experience.
• Experience with environmental investigations including groundwater, soil, surface water.
• Experience with monitoring well drilling, logging, installation and sampling.
• Ability to work in a team with management staff and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure field operations are conducted safely per site plans.
• Participate in field teams for sampling water, soil, soil vapor, surface water and sediment.
• Provide field subcontractor oversight including drilling and waste handling.
• Contribute to work plans and project deliverables (reports, memos, HASPs).
• Assist with data entry, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data.
• Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and subcontractor procurement.
• Support remedial system operations and maintenance as needed.
• Lead field teams collecting data and completing sampling.
• Utilize digital/AI tools to support documentation and analysis.
