WSP is seeking an Early Career Geologist to support our San Francisco, San Jose, or Oakland offices. The role covers on-site characterization, groundwater monitoring, and remediation project support with supervision from project managers. Travel to field sites is expected about 25–50% of the time.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Geology or related field, 0–1 years of experience, and strong written/spoken communication. OSHA HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine field activities for environmental site investigations and remediation projects (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, sediment, surface water).
• Maintains QA/QC procedures to ensure data integrity and documentation.
• Generate field documentation using electronic data collection systems and project records.
• Assist with writing technical memoranda, field reports, and data summaries.
• Support environmental investigations, contaminant characterization, and remediation efforts.
