Job summary

The Geologist I will work out of the Pleasanton office with up to 50% travel, primarily in the Western US, and possibly nationwide. The role involves field sampling, data collection, and report preparation, with a Bachelor's degree required and at least 1 year of related environmental

Qualifications

• 1+ years of directly related experience in the environmental industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Geophysics, or related field.
• Strong technical writing and documentation experience with prior reports, memos, and work plans.
• Experience with environmental investigations including groundwater, soil, and surface water methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field operations follow Site Safety and Health Plans/Health Plans.
• Participate in field teams for collection of water, soil, and sediment samples.
• Oversee field subcontractors including drilling, monitoring wells, waste transport and disposal.
• Contribute to work plans and project deliverables (e.g., RI Reports, SSHP/HASPs).
• Assist with data entry, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data.
• Support remedial system operations and maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with field teams for data collection and environmental sampling.
