Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. seeks an Environmental Scientist with 3–5 years of experience for our Flemington, NJ office. You will work with marketing, administration, and other staff scientists, with PWS/PWIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities include field studies, technical writing, and collaboration in a dynamic team. Ready to travel and work outdoors, you’ll drive locally and contribute to restoration and permitting projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, marine science, natural resources or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in wetland delineation, natural resources permitting, restoration, or mitigation.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations (CWA/401, NJ/PA rules, NEPA).
• Demonstrated technical writing proficiency.
• Ability to perform outdoor field work in varying conditions and some travel.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist field studies such as wetland delineations, wildlife and vegetation studies.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and regulatory documents.
• Participate in team and tailgate safety meetings.
• Work safely outdoors in varying conditions.
• Operate and maintain vehicles across terrains.
