ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE SPECIALIST 1-3 Compliance Assistant Coordinator
Job Location: Address: 1110 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85007We are committed to ensuring the safety of our communities by providing clean and safe drinking water. As a Compliance Assistance Coordinator (CAC) within the Safe Drinking Water Section, you will serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between the regulated community, the public, and our agency.
This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).

Job Duties: As a member of the Monitoring and Protection Unit, you will play a key role in encouraging and assisting public water systems throughout the state to comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act and associated regulations. This includes implementing new and evolving drinking water related legislation, such as lead service line inventories and the control of PFAS-related contaminants.If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply:Driver’s License Requirements.
