Job summary

WSP USA's Earth & Environment Team is seeking an Environmental Science Intern - Summer 2027 to work out of Roseville, CA or San Francisco, CA. This 12-week internship targets students in undergraduate or graduate programs, with a May 17, 2027 start and flexible start date.

You will assist with field data collection, data analysis, and project execution while learning core environmental science concepts and gaining exposure to real projects alongside senior staff.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Environmental Science or related program with Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to follow directions from mentors and work in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental science tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Environmental Science.
• Assist with field data collection, data analysis, and project execution.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies.
• Travel may be required depending on project needs.
• No relocation or housing assistance.
