Job summary

WSP USA invites students to join a full-time Environmental Science Intern role for Summer 2027 in Roseville, CA or San Francisco, CA. This 12-week internship is for undergraduates or graduates currently enrolled in related programs.

During the program you will support environmental science tasks, collect and analyze field data, assist with project documentation, and participate in training. Travel may be required; no relocation or housing is provided.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Environmental Science, Environmental Planner, Natural Resources or related undergraduate program, with anticipated graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated interest in Environmental Science or related field and desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects.
• Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non‑engineering audience.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of environmental science tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Environmental Science.
• Assist with field data collection, data analysis, and project execution.
