Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, risk management, finance, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of relevant experience in environmental risk management, environmental consulting, commercial real estate due diligence, commercial credit, or related field.
• Experience reviewing Phase I and Phase II environmental reports required.
• Experience supporting environmental due diligence in a commercial banking, credit, lending, or real estate finance environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental due diligence for commercial credit transactions.
• Review Phase I and Phase II ESAs and remediation documentation.
• Assess how environmental risk affects collateral value and borrower repayment capacity.
• Collaborate with underwriting, portfolio management, appraisal, legal, and other risk functions.
