Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, risk management, finance, or related field required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 3-7+ years of relevant experience in environmental risk management, environmental consulting, commercial real estate due diligence, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Environmental due diligence reviews: Phase I/II ESAs, records review, regulatory reports, and limited site investigations.
• Provide environmental risk guidance to underwriting, credit approval, and portfolio teams during origination, renewal, and workout activities.
• Prepare clear environmental risk summaries and maintain documentation for risk committees and files.
• Support administration and enhancement of the bank's environmental risk management framework and due diligence standards.
• Coordinate with approved environmental consultants and manage third-party engagement.
