Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Project Manager based in North Dakota. The role focuses on leading and coordinating environmental projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while engaging with clients and regulators.

Your impact

This role is based in Minot, North Dakota. No relocation assistance is offered for this role.

As an Environmental Project Manager based in North Dakota, you’ll play a crucial role in cleaning up our communities and improving our environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and Manage Projects Plan, staff, schedule, and budget projects while ensuring quality, consistency, and safety.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate Work with subcontractors, internal support staff, and subject matter experts.
  • Technical Excellence Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design and implement pilot studies and remedial systems.
  • Client Interaction Engage with clients and regulators, present information, and facilitate discussions on site management strategies.
  • Mentorship and Growth Provide motivation and direction to project teams, and benefit from mentorship opportunities to help you grow your career at Jacobs.
What You’ll Need
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience Proven experience in environmental projects, including site investigation and/or remediation, subcontractor oversight, and managing project teams.
  • Certifications 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degrees and Certifications Master’s degree in a related field and/or certifications such as PE, PG, or PMP.
  • US Citizenship Required for this position.

The base salary range for this position is $119,800.00 to $178,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
