Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Field Technician in Minot, ND, to support environmental engineers and scientists in the field. This role is 75–90% field-based with some documentation and coordination work.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of field experience, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions while wearing PPE. A 40-hour HAZWOPER cert or the ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of environmental/technical field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work outdoors and wear PPE including respirator when required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain.
• TWIC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental investigation, monitoring, and remediation projects under supervision.
• Perform field sampling (groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water, air, etc.).
• Inspect, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot remediation systems.
