Job summary

Restoration Management Company seeks an Environmental Project Manager in Hayward, CA to oversee restoration projects from start to finish. The role emphasizes coordinating resources, scheduling, and client communication while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has proven project management experience, strong leadership, and familiarity with MS Office; asbestos/mold testing experience is a plus, as is a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Thorough knowledge of basic safety standards and practices.
• Proven experience in project management and methodologies.
• Experience leading crews, delegating, and communicating at all levels.
• Industry-related certification is desirable (Asbestos).
• IICRC training in progress or completed.
• Ability to generate reports using Microsoft Suite (Xactimate a plus).
• Experience in marketing services to generate business.
• Understanding of cost containment and risk management.
• Experience in effective communications, coaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Manages jobs from start to finish, identifying resources and deadlines.
• Adjusts work schedules and reassigns personnel as needed.
• Obtains structural samples (as needed) for asbestos/mold/lead testing.
• Prepares work orders for scheduling and disseminates to responsible parties.
• Inspects jobs and recommends further work to adjusters/clients.
• Gathers documents and ensures timely invoicing/payments.
• Maintains frequent communications with adjusters, customers, coworkers, and contractors.
• Markets company services to adjusters or potential clients.
• Collaborates with Account Executives for bids.
• Drives to loss sites with Account Executives to assess damages.
• Supports safety policies and promotes adherence.
