Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Manager to support environmental projects in Michigan and the Midwest. The role requires coordinating complex field programs, preparing planning documents and reports for environmental characterization and remediation, and mentoring engineers and staff.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed PE (MI) or PG in the Midwest, with experience in remedial design and client development. Travel is likely to be required and the team values leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain liaison with individuals and units within or outside organization.
• Direct the work of a staff of typically 5 to 10 engineers and technicians.
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct several large and important projects or a project of major scope and complexity.
• Serve as the technical specialist in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for an assigned responsibility area such as subject matter, function, type of facility or equipment, or product.
• Contribute to business development activities within your areas of expertise.
