Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Environmental Scientist / Project Manager to support our Great Lakes regional remediation team based in the Twin Cities, MN. You will manage projects across soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations, while coordinating with clients, regulators, and internal teams.

The role includes 20% fieldwork, proposal development, cost estimates, and technical reporting. A Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience, and a PE/PG preference with HAZWOPER training are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; 7–10 years preferred.
• PE or PG license preferred; 40-HR HAZWOPER training required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across multiple sectors with soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations.
• Develop proposals, budgets, and schedules; coordinate with clients and agencies.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, cost estimates, and grant applications.
• Mentor junior staff and manage field teams.
