Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks an Environmental Project Manager (Due Diligence and Site Investigation) to lead technical work and management for real estate, manufacturing, and governmental clients.

Ideal candidates have a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, 6+ years in Phase I/II due diligence, and experience supervising staff, budgeting projects, and coordinating with regulators to deliver high-quality, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science (Master's degree a plus)
• 6+ years in due diligence; Phase I/II assessments; asbestos inspection a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience with client/regulatory submittals
• Experience managing multiple projects, budgeting and cost control
• Experience supervising technical and administrative staff
• Experience with soils, groundwater, and vapor at RCRA, CERCLA, Brownfield sites; remediation strategies
• Site investigation/remediation under state programs and RCRA Corrective Action

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence projects for real estate, manufacturing, governmental, and energy clients
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget; ensure quality and regulatory compliance
• Supervise technical and administrative staff; coordinate with clients and regulators
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, timely results
