Job summary

AECOM is actively growing the East Region Environmental Planning & Permitting practice and seeks an Environmental Project Manager in the Southeast Region. You will oversee environmental permitting and utility siting projects for energy and other private sector clients, joining a network of EPP specialists across the US.

The role requires leading teams, coordinating field work, and delivering high-quality proposals and reports, with travel as needed within the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science or related field + 6 years of experience or equivalent.
• 6+ years managing projects and teams to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform consulting projects to scope, schedule, and budget across the Southeast EPP practice.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff; oversee field data collection and client visits.
• Coordinate project field activities, routing and siting studies, and regulatory interfaces.
• Develop business strategy, proposals, and deliverables; contribute to client development.
