Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager for the Mid-Atlantic EPP Department. This position involves overseeing environmental permitting and utility siting projects for energy and other private sector clients across Maryland and Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, regulatory compliance, and client relationship building while being responsible for mentoring junior staff and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing projects and teams.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
• Strong technical support to the EPP Department.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and administer all staff and projects.
• Perform client visits and field activities.
• Serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level staff.
• Coordinate project field and data collection efforts.
