Job summary

WM is seeking a seasoned manager to oversee complex client locations involving hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You will lead onsite teams or contractors, ensure safety training, manage regulatory compliance, and optimize contracts and EBIT.

You will coordinate logistics for waste transport, review financial obligations, and design cost-saving solutions while maintaining high safety standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job-related field or equivalent.
• 4 years of relevant work experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of relevant experience required (in addition to education).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire drug/alcohol testing may be required by customer contracts.
• Testing may include urinalysis, oral swab, hair follicle, and/or alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate onsite or remote activities at client locations.
• Promote safety culture; ensure training and up-to-date certifications.
• Coordinate logistics for hazardous and non-hazardous waste transport and loading.
• Consult with clients to identify cost-saving opportunities and proposals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage contract-related issues and EBIT.
• Review client obligations and optimize contractual compliance while addressing risks.
• May perform labor-intensive tasks as needed.
