Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or other degree relevant to Environmental Consulting
• 0 years of related experience
• A professional license is not required for this position, but progression in career is possible
• Driver's license is required if driving for ECS subsidiary

Responsibilities

• Initiates project setup and implementation with limited supervision
• Performs groundwater, soil, and media sampling activities
• Supervises drill crews and supports investigation activities under senior oversight
• Evaluates site access and performs boring and test pit layouts
• Documents site observations and prepares field reports
• Identifies changing site conditions and recommends investigation adjustments
• Assists with remediation system installation, operation, and maintenance
• Supports underground storage tank assessments
• Communicates site conditions that may impact budgets, scope, or remediation approaches
• Collaborates with project teams on environmental projects
• Attends meetings and assists with issue resolution
• Develops client relationships through project interactions
• Maintains regular communication with clients and stakeholders
• Assists with project budget management and change orders
• Prepares invoices and supports collections
• Schedules and oversees technicians and staff
• Prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines
• Develops project management skills
• Assists with proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates
• Prepares environmental reports and develops recommendations with senior staff
• Coordinates field and office activities for project execution
