Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks an Environmental Project Manager in the Mount Laurel area, NJ. The role leads environmental consulting projects through all stages, coordinating planning, staffing, technical delivery, client communication, and finances.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in environmental consulting, strong project management and client-service skills, and a background in civil/environmental sciences. PE/PG preferred. Compensation ranges with location and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience in environmental consulting.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Manages environmental projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinates scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Mentors junior staff and supports team development.
• Maintains client communication and builds relationships.
• Prepares proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and change orders.
• Oversees field and office resources and subcontractors.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and delivers technical reports.
