Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC seeks an Associate Project Manager to lead environmental projects in the New England region, with field support across MA and RI and travel as needed. You will manage budgets, coordinate with clients and regulators, and contribute to technical reporting and remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related major.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Massachusetts-based regulations.
• Demonstrated technical report writing proficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel up to 40% in MA/RI.

Responsibilities

• Project management of environmental projects, including coordinating with team, clients, regulators, and subcontractors.
• Manage project financials: budgets, subcontractor invoices, and grants/funding sources.
• Prepare proposals and technical scopes of work.
• Prepare technical reports supporting MCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Support remediation design and implementation activities.
